Stomach Cramps And Alot Of Peeing

An array of LEDs very particular

This small project, which started a week ago, it is a simple array of LEDs as the friend Ariel uControl Forum with the difference that the LED panel is mounted on an uneven surface (in this case a hat)

The idea of \u200b\u200bthis "invention" is my son, who came with the need to build a hat with lights (already had explained on the LEDs at some point to their technology classes)

Reviewing schemes here and there I came to this, four shift registers 74HC595 responsible for activating or 32 columns of LEDs and 5 for rows BC640 transistors.

PIC 16F628A is the old, outgrown by low memory, but not getting the 18F2550 in MDS, and has a memory 24xx256 (32Kbyte) to store the "videos" or fonts to display.

The design was intended to be reused in other projects, a source of terminal blocks and two plates. You can add more columns with just adding another plate and serial data output.

the power to chose two 3V lithium batteries, because with all the fury I have a consumption of 200mA and these batteries are small enough and light enough to carry on the stubborn

Well these are the photos, the end is the link to download the schematics and PCBs

Funny Army Sayings And Quotes

Hat USB LED matrix LC Meter and more

pilot project for my Bedini Motor - and others - was in need of an inductance meter, for quite some had slept a wink the LC Meter Phil Rice:

I got down to work (ie to duplicate this circuit) and I were going on several ideas.

Option 1:
First, the circuit needs a transformer 220/110V to 9V, why? because consumption of the LCD (with backlight) I do not let you play all day measuring coils or condensers

xD Aha!, then we put a transformer + bridge + controller + capacitors + optional 9v + lcd + .... hummmm looks expensive, and finish with a tool as simple (and useful) connected to the wall .... no, go for option 2.

Option 2:

If use of Port USB 5v ?.... pc power, I have no controller, transformer, rectifier -> Excellent!

and ... if connected to USB port, why not use a 18F2550 and communicate well the measured data -> Spectacular!

y. .. what then would have a LCD? for nothing!, remains optional -> Cheaper = as usual!

- up to here and remained tied with the price difference between the 18f and 16F628 -

y. .. if we also available I / O .... plus ...

etc. I stayed with option 2, this is what we have so far:

So far excellent results with errors less than 2%
