I recently dealt with a HP that had 4GB of RAM and it came with Windows 7 Home Premium 32 bits. This means that only 3GB can be used so I do not understand why they sell well. If you install Windows 7 x64 then you can use the 4GB that you've paid for it, even if you pass the test then you will have better performance.

Another thing I do not understand is why only give you the record of 32-bit Windows 7, when the license is valid for any two versions, x86 (x32 for some) and x64.

The fact is that reinstalled the system with a Windows installation DVD 7 64-bit and activated on the original serial number that comes with the computer. So you have the 4GB for use as you want and the system is better.
