php.ini settings in Microsoft # # SSEE has-been upgraded to a newer version of SharePoint. Please upgrade this SharePoint application server Attempting to access
We have a server Windows SharePoint Services 3.0 with SharePoint Server 2007 Service Pack 1.
One day Microsoft released the SharePoint Server 2007 Service Pack 2 and this is automatically installed by WSUS.
Result: sharepoint does not work and the server remains inaccessible. Can not login using domain accounts. Only the administrator local team and see them enter that apparently failed to install the SharePoint Server 2007 Service Pack 2.
The error message:
Additional exception information: The Specified SPContentDatabase Name = SharePoint_AdminContent_ ... Parent = SPDatabaseServiceInstance Name = Microsoft # # SSEE has-been upgraded to a newer version of SharePoint. Please upgrade this SharePoint application server Before Attempting to access this object.
Luckily this server was installed on a virtual machine which are backups. In this way we recover a copy of a few months ago was not applied SP2.
And what was my surprise when I boot the virtual machine and it turns out not let me in with domain accounts. Anyway, I decide to remove the domain and to get it back. With that I let him enter with the domain account and run the sharepoint.
The fact is that after manually install pending updates several times and in different orders always get the same point. The one flaw is the Service Pack 2.
So looking at the installation logs like:
PSCDiagnostics_7_2_2009_14_35_22_690_1277717239.log
always see the same error and no clue. So I decide
see what's in:
Upgrade.log
And we see an error such as:
[SPDatabaseGbwSequence] [ERROR] [7/2/2009 2:36:46 PM]: Upgrade object too new (build version = 12.0.0.6219, schema version = 2.0.0.0). Current server (build version = 12.0.0.4518, schema version = 3.0.1.0).
Anyway, looking for this error are a funny thing happens to people: if you have installed the Microsoft GroupBoard workspace 2007, the installation fails miserably.
The solution: uninstall the Microsoft GroupBoard workspace 2007 before you install SharePoint Server 2007 Service Pack 2.
And I personally I did not install the Microsoft GroupBoard happy workspace 2007 or like it.
