The update "Security Update for SQL Server 2005 Service Pack 2 (KB948109) "is downloaded to a Windows Vista development team to install from WSUS. It installs and error 0 × 773F. Then reappears as available and repeat the process.
To address this, we the "SQL server configuration manager" and see that the team has a SQL server 2005 Express and SQL server 2005 standard. It is appreciated that the Express does not start and in fact fails when we try to boot. The standard working properly.
see that the standard version starts with the account of "local" while the Express does with "service network."
We set it to use the same standard and boots correctly.
